Licensed Psychotherapist - Trauma/PTSD/EMDR

Bright Road Recovery is an innovative eating disorder treatment program with an outstanding treatment team.

We are seeking a licensed part-time therapist to provide therapy services in PHP, IOP and Outpatient levels of care. Our highly trained and skilled therapists work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in various aspects of the program including group/family therapy, individual therapy and meal support.

Our ideal candidate:

  • has at least 2 years’ experience working with eating disorders, trauma, addiction, or severe mood disorders
  • is skilled in EMDR, somatic work, psychodrama, or other therapeutic modality
  • has experience with insurance care coordination and utilization reviews
  • has experience with program intake processes
  • is able to devote 20-25 hours (and 4 days) per week to our program, including evenings and a weekend day
  • is creative, responsive, and passionate about their treatment approach with patients
  • interested in bringing creative ideas, passion, and expertise to further enrich and develop our dynamic program

Therapist Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Reports to Executive Director
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for IOP, PHP & Outpatient patients
  • Provide meal support during supervised meals
  • Participate in case management and care coordination, including utilization reviews and treatment team meetings
  • Maintain appropriate and timely contact with referring professionals
  • Detailed and timely documentation, including: biopsychosocial assessment, weekly goal setting and treatment planning, session progress notes, discharge reporting/recommendations
  • Participate in collaborative therapeutic and work environment

Job Type: Contracted, Part-time

Physical Limitations:

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to climb and descend stairs
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or related field
  • Must have and maintain active state license for MFT, LCSW, LPC or PsyD or PhD
