Christian Rodriguez, BS, has been a competitive athlete for the past nine years. His determination in athletics is reflected in his constant efforts to better himself. Christian brings this same drive and passion he held towards his athletic career to do his best to empower patients to have a healthy relationship with food.
Christian graduated from the California Polytechnic University of Pomona with a Bachelors of Science in Food & Nutrition, with a minor in Physiology. While attending Cal Poly, Christian also received his Certification in the International Society of Sports Nutrition, as he continues to specialize in this area of nutrition and wellness.
Christian plans to apply for his dietetic internship in the near future so that he can become a registered dietitian. Christian states. “I want to become a registered dietitian so that I can be best prepared in helping people live healthier lives."
Seeing patients grow and persevere through difficult obstacles is what brings Christian the most satisfaction as a nutrition assistant. Christian likes to think of himself as a facilitator, only guiding patients in the right direction “In the end, it's the patients put in the hard work needed to change” says Christian. He enjoys being a part of helping patients develop a better relationship with food because he thinks everyone deserves to enjoy the nourishing their body.
In his free time, Christian enjoys spending time with family & friends, meditation, and learning new ways of working out his mind and body.
