Danielle Buckland is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in management and direct clinical practice. Danielle’s clinical experience and research interests include: substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, criminal justice populations, and complex trauma.
Danielle obtained her Master’s in Social Work and Bachelors in Psychology from California State University San Bernardino. Danielle’s professional experience began with School Social Work, followed by Medical Hospice Social Work. Danielle’s passion for clinical services led her to transition to Mental Health and Substance Abuse treatment. Danielle has been instrumental in designing an integrated treatment modal for clients with co-occurring disorders.
Danielle’s passion for clinical service is driven by her belief that recovery is possible. Danielle enjoys helping people believe hope that change is possible. Danielle uses a combination of motivational interviewing and dialectical behavioral therapy skills training to help patients gain the skills and motivation needed for recovery.
When Danielle is not working, she enjoys playing with her son and husband. Danielle and her husband run together and enjoy entering obstacle races, 5k’s, and sprint triathlons. Danielle also enjoys baking cupcakes and decorating cakes.
In addition to treating patients in our program, Danielle provides clinical supervision for our associate therapists.
