Joanna Bosque is a Clinical Therapist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Bright Road Recovery.
Her compassion, patience, flexibility, and ability to relate to patients with an open and nonjudgmental attitude stems from her experience in working with patients with various needs and challenges. Joanna has worked with children/ adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families. Her experience also includes working with patients (children to geriatrics) with conduct, mood, and personality disorders in the community, school, home, and hospital settings.
Joanna holds a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from California Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Joanna is passionate on working collaboratively with her patients to explore their lives on a deeper level and gaining insight on how their experiences influence the choices they make. She believes in empowering patients, assisting them in achieving their goals, strengthening their relationships, and supporting them in redeveloping a healthy relationship with food.
When she is not working, she spends most of her time with her two children and husband. She also enjoys finding great deals, baking, catching up on TV shows, and listening to music.
