Katherine Ingram, BS, is a Mental Health Counselor at Bright Road Recovery. Her patience, understanding and unconditional positive regard have been fostered through years of working with children with disabilities and their families.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Recreation Therapy and is currently working on her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her transition from behavioral health into eating disorder recovery comes from the desire to learn more about the field and the best practices of recovery.
Seeing the progress of our patients and helping them reach their goals in recovery is the most rewarding aspect of working with eating disorder patients for Katie. Supporting and encouraging those around her when working on themselves and their relationship with food is a skill that she is continuously developing to add to the care of our patients.
Katie enjoys spending time with her two cats Marvel and Jax as well as her husband. On the weekends she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, practicing calligraphy and catching up on reality tv shows.
