Executive Director / CEO

Hello, I’m Tamson, Executive Director for Bright Road Recovery. I want to welcome you to our program; a place where I hope you will find exactly what you are looking for to support your journey toward recovery from an eating disorder. Yes, recovery from an eating disorder is a journey. And at Bright Road I can assure you that at whatever point you find yourself–just beginning, afraid of beginning, tried several times before, confidently stepping down from a higher level of eating disorder treatment–we offer the comprehensive and individualized program that will meet you where you are.

I’ve been working with clients who have eating disorders for over fifteen years and have witnessed the heartache and pain experienced in the grips of the disorder. Just as often I’ve seen the joy and reward of full recovery. Between these points exists the hard work and the determination of recovery—and the need for support and real help. My staff and I are deeply committed to helping you move from the pain to the joy, from the heartache to the reward.

Our approach to eating disorder recovery is based on the understanding that recovery is different than eating disorder treatment. Treatment is important and necessary, but it’s not the end of the story. Recovery takes time and requires a supportive and knowledgeable community. You need time and you need support; and you need both of those while you are rebuilding your life in a way that no longer includes the eating disorder.

Additionally, our approach is based on understanding that each client is unique and will respond most quickly to a specific recovery plan tailored to individual needs. That’s why I have assembled a vibrant team of highly skilled professionals who are eager to meet you and get to know your specific needs. Each offers different views and perspectives, each bringing talents and insights that help to inspire, guide and support you in finding your own path to recovery.

I invite you to give us a call to get to know us a bit better, and we’ll get to know you. Let’s work together to make eating disorder recovery a Bright Road for you.
