Therapy Services:
Eating Disorder Treatment Specialty

How can therapy for eating disorders help?

Your therapist plays an important role in the successful treatment of your eating disorders and will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team that may be required to provide to ensure your recovery. In addition to psychotherapy, your outpatient team may include a physician, psychiatrist and dietitian.

Together, you and your therapist will identify issues that need attention and develop a treatment plan to support your eating disorder treatment and recovery. To make sure your improvements are lasting, you and your therapist will work together to explore issues underlying your eating disorder. This may include helping you to improve your personal relationships address trauma, depression and feelings of anxiety.

Call us today to get started with therapy for your eating disorder.

We know how important it is to find the right therapist. We also know how hard it is to find someone to help you explore issues around food and feelings. Our Clinical Therapists understand eating disorders and are skilled at helping clients work through these issues as well as the personal, relationship and family issues that can also arise. And with the resources available through Bright Road Recovery, your therapist can help you build the team you need to support you as you challenge your eating disorder.
